About the Role
You will design and develop robotic PCBAs, power electronics, firmware, communication protocols, and interfaces. You will build and test prototypes, integrate hardware with software, verify reliability and safety, document designs and test protocols, lead electronics engineers, and improve engineering standards through design reviews.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Robotics, Automotive, Aerospace, or a relevant field
- At least five years of industry or research experience
- PCB design and firmware development experience
- Proficiency with Altium, Eagle, KiCad, and SPICE
- Electronics instrumentation debugging skills
- Knowledge of control systems and robotics electronics and firmware
- Experience with consumer electronics, avionics, or automotive control systems
- Hardware debugging and optimization skills
- Leadership experience managing teams, contractors, and OEM or ODM relationships
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCBAs, power electronics, firmware, communication protocols, and interfaces
- Build and test prototypes
- Integrate hardware components with software systems
- Test robotic hardware for reliability, durability, and safety
- Create electronics specifications, assembly instructions, and testing protocols
- Lead and mentor electronics engineers
