About the Role
You will serve as the technical authority for all electrical systems on a lunar lander. You will develop and maintain electrical-system solutions, manage risks and resolution plans, guide engineers, define verification and acceptance approaches, review supplier deliverables, and present technical status at program reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in spacecraft electrical systems
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- U.S. Person status and eligibility to obtain required export authorizations
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for all lunar-lander electrical systems
- Develop, document, and maintain electrical-system solutions within program constraints
- Delegate defined technical authority to dotted-line engineers
- Mentor and lead small engineering teams designing complex products
- Identify and manage technical risks, issues, opportunities, and resolution plans
- Define and defend verification and acceptance approaches
- Support configuration control and baseline integrity
- Review and approve supplier technical deliverables and milestone reviews
- Present and defend technical status and scope at formal program reviews
