About the Role
Drive the deployment, security, and reliability of VIA's Web3 data and identity protection solutions while owning infrastructure components and using AI-driven automation and infrastructure as code to meet rigorous security requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
- Deep understanding of Unix/Linux, DNS, storage, firewalls, TCP/UDP/IP, and application data flows
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, configuration, and monitoring tools
- In-depth AWS experience; Azure or GCP experience is a bonus
- Experience managing network infrastructure, troubleshooting, security, and hardening
- Experience with CJIS, CMMC, and SOC 2 compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting
- Ability to manage priorities and plan across development cycles
- Strong stakeholder relationship, communication, and presentation skills
- Blockchain node deployment, application orchestration, Istio, or IoT experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Shape and operate infrastructure and deployment systems
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tooling
- Drive reliability and observability
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices
- Champion security and compliance across infrastructure and automated pipelines
- Collaborate with engineering leadership, client delivery, and product teams to prioritize infrastructure work
- Identify and implement AI tools and agents for automated remediation, log anomaly detection, infrastructure-as-code review, and compliance evidence collection
