About the Role

You will manage white-space data center fit-out projects from planning through commissioning and turnover. You will oversee schedules, budgets, quality, safety, vendors, contractors, equipment delivery, reporting, risk mitigation, site execution, and operational handoff.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of mission-critical construction experience
• Experience delivering white-space fit-out projects in colocation environments
• Understanding of power, cooling, controls, and rack-level infrastructure
• Experience managing multiple complex construction projects or workstreams
• Experience with EPC firms, general contractors, specialty trades, and colocation providers
• Project controls and commercial skills, including schedule management, change-order review, contract administration, and cost control
• Knowledge of commissioning, quality control, safety, and project-turnover processes
• Proficiency with construction-management, scheduling, and reporting tools
• Ability to travel regularly to project sites

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of assigned data center construction projects
• Lead data hall buildout, including racks, containment, power distribution, cooling integration, and network readiness
• Interface with colocation providers on readiness, SLAs, schedules, and integration points
• Drive vendors, contractors, and trade partners to deliver fit-out work
• Manage project cost, schedule, quality, and safety
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and recovery plans
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate material issues
• Lead site-level execution teams
• Track delivery of long-lead equipment with procurement and supply chain
• Maintain project reporting, dashboards, schedules, and executive status updates
• Support commissioning, punch-list completion, turnover documentation, and operational handoff
