About the Role
You will coordinate multidisciplinary data center design and delivery from planning through construction support. You will manage milestones, resolve cross-discipline interfaces, lead design reviews, oversee design changes, maintain documentation, and support construction and commissioning handoffs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience managing multidisciplinary design for data centers, mission-critical facilities, or comparable infrastructure
- Technical understanding of data center infrastructure interfaces
- Experience delivering coordinated design packages through construction support
- Experience coordinating design consultants, engineering specialists, and construction partners
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications and resolve interface gaps
- Strong written and verbal communication, issue tracking, and judgment
Responsibilities
- Manage design scope, deliverables, milestones, and dependencies
- Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and physical network interfaces
- Translate requirements into coordinated design criteria
- Lead multidisciplinary design reviews and resolve risks and actions
- Evaluate design changes and clarify reliability, safety, cost, schedule, and maintainability impacts
- Coordinate external architects, consultants, developers, and equipment suppliers
- Partner with construction and commissioning teams on constructability, RFIs, submittals, and field issues
- Maintain design documentation and handoff requirements
- Incorporate field and operational lessons into reusable standards and reference designs
