About the Role
You will own analytics for major market makers, large takers, and brokerages. You will analyze account-level volume, flow composition, spread capture, fees, rebates, counterparty health, and trading behavior; identify concentration and churn risks; support partner reviews and negotiations; quantify effects on liquidity, spreads, and retail traders; build modeled reporting datasets; and document your analysis thoroughly.
Requirements
- 7+ years in analytics, trading, or counterparty analysis
- Expert SQL using order book and transaction-level data
- Understanding of spread capture, adverse selection, inventory risk, and liquidity economics
- Ability to analyze sophisticated counterparties and explain findings commercially
- Strong communication and discretion with sensitive information
- Experience with institutional pricing, fee tiers, or rebate programs is a plus
- Familiarity with on-chain data or blockchain analytics is a plus
- Python or R for statistical work is a plus
- Experience in fintech, crypto, prediction markets, or data-intensive financial products is a plus
