About the Role
You will build and maintain data pipelines, integrate external data, develop product and internal applications, enhance blockchain reporting and reconciliation, improve data quality and near-real-time processing, and create self-service data tools.
Requirements
- Computer Science engineering degree or equivalent
- 6+ years of combined software engineering and data engineering experience
- TypeScript, Node.js, or Python experience
- Postgres or MySQL experience
- RESTful API design experience
- Data pipeline and ETL experience
- Data warehouse and data modeling experience
- Systems design and event-driven systems experience
- Kafka experience
- Unit and functional testing and debugging experience
- Microservices and service-oriented architecture experience
- Git, GitHub, CI, JIRA, and Confluence experience
- Availability for on-call rotations
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Integrate external data sources
- Develop applications for customer-facing products and internal systems
- Enhance blockchain reporting infrastructure and automated reconciliation systems
- Ensure data quality and auditability
- Optimize data systems for near-real-time processing
- Develop self-service data tools
- Research and prototype data-engineering technologies
