About the Role

You will build and operate production data pipelines that consolidate infrastructure, billing, accounting, and business data in a warehouse. You will create understandable data models and metric definitions, improve data reliability through testing and monitoring, and partner with Finance on datasets for usage, revenue, costs, and margins. You will make data available for reporting, self-service analysis, and AI-assisted querying, while resolving data-quality issues with engineering teams and making maintainable architecture decisions.

Requirements

• Experience building and owning production data pipelines and warehouse models
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Sound software engineering practices in testing, version control, deployment, and monitoring
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
• Experience with data transformation and orchestration tools
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and clarifying ambiguous requirements
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and improve system reliability
• Strong ownership and prioritization skills
• Around six or more years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Establish testing, monitoring, reconciliation, and alerting for data quality
• Partner with Finance to create dependable datasets for usage, revenue, costs, and margins
• Make data accessible for self-service analysis, reporting, and AI-assisted querying
• Improve source data quality and resolve issues from ingestion through downstream consumption
• Make practical architecture and tooling decisions that balance business needs with maintainability
