About the Role
You will investigate complex on-chain threats, identify attribution and behavioural patterns, and assess intelligence coverage gaps. You will lead research from scoping and data collection through written outputs and presentations. You will develop heuristics processes and tooling, produce reports and briefings, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior colleagues.
Requirements
- Data science fundamentals

- Proficiency with layer 1 and layer 2 blockchains
- Experience bridging cryptocurrency between chains
- Experience self-custodying cryptocurrency
- OSINT techniques
- Structured analytic techniques
- Ability to communicate uncertainty
- Security clearance eligibility in the UK or US
- AI tools for intelligence analysis workflows
Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in identity and non-identity signals for characterising complex on-chain threats
- Lead end-to-end research and investigation efforts
- Evaluate attribution coverage and prioritise intelligence collection projects
- Develop processes and tooling for heuristic development
- Monitor cryptocurrency developments, criminal typologies, and obfuscation techniques
- Summarise findings in reports, briefings, and marketing content
- Deliver actionable intelligence to government partners and the crypto industry
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues
