About the Role
You will use AI and data tools to optimize payments performance, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations; design experiments; research business questions; build ETL pipelines, dashboards, and machine learning models; and maintain cloud data infrastructure and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with a strong academic record
- Internship experience working with code
- Experience using SQL and Python with large datasets
- Experience using AI tools for development, data workflows, and automation
- Analytical expertise and business acumen
- Ability to communicate with non-technical partners
- Knowledge of systems architecture and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with payments or banking
Responsibilities
- Leverage AI to create scalable data tools, agents, and automations
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to systemize data-driven decisions
- Measure and optimize payments-stack cost and performance
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on the payments business and implementation
- Identify process gaps and opportunities
- Design, run, and analyze experiments
- Research questions independently and produce actionable insights
- Build ETL pipelines, dashboards, and machine learning models
- Translate business needs into practical data solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain data systems and architecture
- Maintain and improve cloud data infrastructure and tooling
- Operationalize data processes and systems
