About the Role
You will turn product and business data into clear, decision-ready insights. You will build dashboards, conduct ad-hoc analyses, design and evaluate experiments, maintain dbt models in Redshift, define trusted metrics, and improve self-serve analytics. You will partner on event tracking and analytics strategy across product, engineering, customer success, and data science.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, product analyst, or analytics engineer
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks
- Experience building and maintaining dbt data models, including tests and documentation
- Knowledge of statistics and experiment design
- Experience running A/B tests end-to-end
- Experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel
- Experience with BI or notebook tools such as Hex, Mode, or Looker
- Working proficiency in Python for analysis
- Ability to prioritize competing requests in a 0-1 environment
- Ability to communicate recommendations to product, engineering, and business stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards in Hex and Amplitude for consumer behavior, app performance, brand-partner outcomes, and business metrics
- Field ad-hoc analysis requests and deliver clear, decision-ready answers
- Design, launch, and analyze A/B tests and feature experiments
- Run surveys and statistical analyses of customer behavior, including funnels, cohorts, retention, and engagement
- Build and maintain tested and documented dbt models in Redshift
- Define and document core metrics
- Partner on Amplitude event tracking and feature instrumentation
- Develop an end-to-end understanding of the product so analytics reflects product behavior
- Plan and review analytics strategy with the data science team
- Enable self-serve analytics for non-technical teammates
