About the Role
You will own the analytical layer for model evaluation, turning simulation and on-road testing outputs into actionable findings. You will analyse experiments with statistical rigor, improve performance metrics and test coverage, investigate quality issues, and document recommendations that strengthen weekly model-release decisions.
Requirements
- Experience with ML evaluation data, driving-performance metrics, or complex test results at scale
- Knowledge of statistical methods for A/B testing and experimentation
- Proficiency in Python or SQL
- Ability to query and analyse large datasets
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Clear written communication
Responsibilities
- Define analytical workflows for learning from evaluation data
- Improve driving-performance metrics, evaluation methods, suites, and scoring logic
- Investigate on-road testing findings and improve offline test coverage
- Analyse experiments and provide data-driven model-promotion recommendations
- Develop richer measures of model quality beyond intervention rates
- Define and maintain evaluation methods and ground truth
- Support partner-facing quality investigations
- Document findings and implement durable evaluation improvements
