About the Role
You will own month-end close and deliver a board-ready package by Day 10. You will lead technical accounting, institutional audit readiness, finance policies, ERP selection and implementation, accounting-team development, and coordination with tax counsel and auditors.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or Big 4 Senior Manager experience
- Experience with an institutional audit cycle
- Technical accounting knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842
- ERP implementation experience
- U.S. citizenship, U.S. permanent residency, or eligibility under applicable export control regulations
Responsibilities
- Own month-end close and deliver a board-ready close package by Day 10
- Lead technical accounting across ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 718
- Lead the institutional audit and establish public-company audit readiness
- Build finance policies for spending, T&E, revenue recognition, capitalization, lease accounting, and internal controls
- Lead ERP selection and implementation and redesign the chart of accounts
- Build the accounting team and partner with tax counsel and auditors
- Partner on capital structure and treasury operations
