About the Role

You will analyse, design and improve business processes for the ASX24 Replacement Project. You will elicit and document requirements, model processes and data flows, coordinate with stakeholders and delivery teams, support testing and change management, and produce high-quality business analysis artefacts across the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Experience with interest rate, equity and/or commodity futures and options projects
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience across Agile, Lean and Waterfall projects
  • Experience working independently on Tier 1 projects across the full SDLC
  • Deep understanding of business analysis fundamentals
  • Experience gathering stakeholder needs and translating them into detailed requirements
  • Experience with business process modelling using MS Visio or other enterprise platforms
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence
  • Effective communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage change
  • Comfort working within a matrix structure
  • Experience with change management and influencing user behaviour
  • Financial markets experience
  • Business Analysis certification such as IIBA CBAP

Responsibilities

  • Perform gap analysis on current and target states
  • Elicit, analyse, prioritise and obtain approval for business requests
  • Define transitions of business processes to strategic and interim states
  • Analyse and map process flows, domain models, system data flows and lifecycle events
  • Prepare business requirements, including epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Use formal modelling techniques to represent business requirements
  • Coordinate with internal project teams and IT solution providers
  • Review and contribute to test scenarios and the overall test strategy
  • Run project coordination, stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog grooming sessions when required
  • Work with Release Management on implementation and transition
  • Contribute to change management and prepare training artefacts
  • Conduct peer reviews of business analysis artefacts
  • Produce business analysis deliverables using relevant techniques and tools
