About the Role
You will lead and contribute to Charles River Investment Management Solution implementations. You will analyze client requirements, configure and tune the application, provide product guidance, train users, test workflows, resolve issues, and prepare clients for go-live and ongoing ownership. You will also support sales opportunities, deliver presentations, execute proof-of-concept projects, advise customers on best practices, identify product enhancements, and help communicate and validate software defects and fixes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing mission-critical financial solutions
- Experience implementing Front Office, Middle Office, or Back Office investment management systems
- Experience with middle-office workflows, security life cycle events, corporate action processing, and daily position reconciliation
- Experience implementing investment management software, preferably an order management and compliance system
- Business Systems Analyst experience or skillset
- Proficiency with SQL
- Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures, messaging systems, and relational database structures
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Four-year degree in a business or technical field such as Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science
- Ability to travel to client sites throughout the United States and Canada
Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to CRIMS implementations
- Analyze and evaluate customer requirements
- Configure and tune the application to client business and technical needs
- Provide product expertise and implementation guidance
- Ensure customers are prepared to operate the solution after go-live
- Train customers on CRIMS methodologies and functionality
- Test workflows and resolve issues before go-live
- Assist Professional Services team members and share best practices
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations
- Execute proof-of-concept projects
- Advise customers on implementation and operational best practices
- Identify potential product and service enhancements
- Document and communicate product improvements
- Communicate software defects to Client Support and Product Management
- Validate resulting software fixes
- Identify documentation errors and suggest improvements
