About the Role
You will lead the development of the Liquid Collective protocol, the enterprise grade liquid staking standard on Ethereum, and support its expansion across other EVM networks. You will tackle highly complex and challenging technical problems, devising innovative solutions. You will support prototyping, iteration, and launch, and build tooling to enable the secure operation of the protocol. You will typically spend 30% of your time architecting and building the protocol, 20% performing research, 20% reviewing engineers' code, 10% facilitating audit reviews and fixes, and 20% contributing to product design and estimation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience architecting, building and releasing production grade Solidity contracts
- A deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine
- Experience with smart contracts monitoring tools and practices
- Experience working in an agile remote first environment
- Deep understanding of the Ethereum proof of stake protocol
- Experience contributing to open source communities

Responsibilities
- Architect smart contract protocols
- Build secure smart contract protocols and design systems to connect Liquid Collective users with the protocol
- Create and enforce robust security measures aimed at preventing smart contract hacks
- Drive standardization of the Liquid Collective protocol
- Work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to define the protocol strategy and roadmap
- Define best practices including architecting smart contracts writing code testing documentation releasing monitoring and security
- Shape our culture by contributing to the product engineering culture around our core values
