About the Role

Lead development of the Liquid Collective protocol, an enterprise-grade liquid staking standard on Ethereum, and support its expansion across other EVM networks. Architect and build the protocol, conduct research, review code, facilitate audit fixes, contribute to product design and estimation, and build tooling for secure protocol operation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience architecting, building, and releasing production-grade Solidity contracts
  • Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine
  • Experience with smart contract monitoring tools and practices
  • Experience working in an agile, remote-first environment
  • Deep understanding of the Ethereum proof-of-stake protocol
  • Experience contributing to open-source communities
  • Alignment with company values
  • Willingness to constantly learn, improve, and help beyond the scope of the role
  • Bonus: experience in Go, Rust, or a similar language
  • Bonus: experience with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, or similar cloud-native technologies
  • Bonus: experience working on EIPs or related community activities

Responsibilities

  • Architect smart contract protocols
  • Build secure smart contract protocols and design systems connecting Liquid Collective users with the protocol
  • Create and enforce security measures to prevent smart contract hacks and improve protocol resilience
  • Drive standardization of the Liquid Collective protocol
  • Define protocol strategy and roadmap with Product and Engineering leadership
  • Define best practices for smart contract architecture, coding, testing, documentation, releases, monitoring, alerting, and security
  • Contribute to the product engineering culture and company values
