About the Role
You will own the pricing system across iOS, Android, web, and API products. You will design architecture, build and release features, monitor performance with Datadog, optimize endpoints for lower latency, and use product usage data to guide iterations. You will work closely with product owners and frontend engineers to deliver pricing and product-growth initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Django and Django Rest Framework
- Experience designing schemas, optimizing Django queries, and running low-downtime migrations for relational databases at scale
- Experience scaling SaaS and subscription management systems using Stripe or RevenueCat
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases larger than 100 GB
- Experience designing endpoints with frontend engineers and producing OpenAPI and developer documentation
- Fluency in English
