About the Role
You will build and operate backend infrastructure supporting onboarding, funding, savings, vaults, withdrawals, portfolio data, and customer communications. You will develop reliable vault-management, monitoring, rebalancing, transaction-orchestration, and blockchain-indexing services. You will integrate external infrastructure, improve operational practices, lead technical reviews, and collaborate with product and engineering specialists to deliver secure, reliable consumer experiences.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience owning complex production systems
- Strong backend programming skills
- Production experience with Rust, or strong systems experience in Go, C++, Zig, or Java
- Experience building distributed, event-driven, or data-intensive systems with reliability and performance requirements
- Knowledge of API and GraphQL design, relational databases, caching, queues, and observability
- Judgment around threat modelling, sensitive data, permissions, and operational risks for systems handling financial value
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services across onboarding, funding, savings, vaults, withdrawals, portfolio data, and customer communications
- Build vault management, monitoring, and rebalancing systems, including partner vault integrations
- Turn reviewed allocation models into reliable production services with Quant Engineers
- Build transaction-orchestration and high-throughput indexing services for onchain activity
- Integrate with smart contracts, RPC providers, account infrastructure, payment partners, and external services
- Lead technical reviews and improve testing, observability, alerting, incident response, and deployment practices
- Collaborate with mobile, web, product, design, protocol, smart contract, quant, security, data, and operations teams
- Raise engineering standards through hands-on delivery, architecture, documentation, and reviews
