About the Role
You will shape the ARAP platform by designing, implementing, and safely releasing solutions for sales and expense management. You will primarily work with Python and Django, collaborate with Product and Design, refine requirements, and occasionally contribute to frontend clients. You will use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining engineering judgment, security awareness, and quality.
Requirements
- Senior-level software engineering experience
- Strong backend skills with Python and Django, or comparable framework experience and ability to become productive with Django quickly
- Ability to refine requirements and develop solutions collaboratively and iteratively
- Ability to take ownership of technically demanding work
- Willingness to work occasionally on frontend clients
- Experience with or readiness to use AI-assisted development tools and workflows
- Clear communication in plain language
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions for the ARAP platform
- Develop backend services using Python and Django
- Collaborate with engineers, Product, and Design from requirements through production
- Refine requirements and develop solutions iteratively
- Occasionally make changes to frontend clients when needed
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly
- Ensure engineering quality and security awareness
