About the Role

You will build, maintain, and optimize scalable backend services that support applications and infrastructure. You will develop secure APIs, improve system reliability and performance, monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and protect user data. You will collaborate with product, data, and frontend partners to deliver robust backend solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience building scalable and reliable applications
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases
• Experience designing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Problem-solving skills for optimizing performance and reliability
• Communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services
• Implement secure and efficient APIs
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and frontend engineers
• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of backend systems
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
• Maintain security best practices for user data and system integrity
• Stay current with backend and distributed-systems technologies
