About the Role

You will lead credit documentation, loan disbursement, and post-disbursement activities. You will review and execute facility and security documents, manage mortgage processes, resolve exceptions, coordinate with legal and valuation agencies, improve workflows through automation, and guide junior staff.

  • Advanced knowledge of legal documentation and mortgage processes
  • Experience streamlining and automating operational processes
  • Ability to drive operational efficiency and reduce turnaround time
  • Business support and stakeholder-management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, core banking systems, document management systems, and credit services platforms
  • Proficiency in systems related to legal documentation and mortgage processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead documentation and credit-related services
  • Review, draft, and execute offer letters and facility documents
  • Maintain security-document templates
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for credit documentation and loan administration
  • Oversee mortgage security creation, perfection, enforcement, valuations, and collateral audits
  • Identify and mitigate legal and documentation risks
  • Analyze processes and identify operational bottlenecks
  • Design and implement workflow automation solutions
  • Optimize loan disbursement and post-disbursement processes
  • Coordinate with legal and valuation agencies for timely reports
  • Resolve critical exception items with relationship managers, customers, and the Credit Control Unit
  • Manage vendor relationships, payments, and disputes
  • Establish and monitor operational efficiency and turnaround-time KPIs
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Mentor junior team members
