About the Role
You will lead complex engineering projects through the full software development lifecycle. You will define technical requirements and system architecture with cross-functional stakeholders, promote coding, testing, and maintenance best practices, and take ownership of technical decisions. You will develop expertise in areas of the technology stack and mentor Application Engineering colleagues.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of commercial experience leading technical projects
- Problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
- Experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with Python, Java, and frontend frameworks
- Leadership experience mentoring and developing engineering talent
- Communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a First or 2:1, preferably in a technical subject
