About the Role
You will manage financial consolidations, corporate planning, and forecasting across functional groups. You will partner with G&A leaders, build and maintain financial models and budgets, deliver actionable insights, support month-end close, improve FP&A processes and tools, and complete ad hoc analysis and special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 4–6 years of professional FP&A experience, preferably in biotech, pharma, or life sciences.
- Understanding of corporate finance and consolidation processes.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and financial planning tools such as Adaptive Planning or Anaplan preferred.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to partner across scientific and business teams.
- Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple projects to deadlines.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Manage budget and forecast consolidations across functional groups.
- Support development of the long-range corporate model for strategic planning and capital management.
- Partner with G&A groups on planning, forecasting, analytics, and insights.
- Lead annual planning, mid-year reforecasting, and quarterly budget-to-actual meetings for G&A groups.
- Develop and maintain financial models and budgets for G&A spending by group and program.
- Provide actionable financial insights to senior leadership.
- Assist with long-range and scenario planning for corporate growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close activities.
- Support development of scalable FP&A tools, systems, and processes.
- Identify and recommend FP&A process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects.
