About the Role

You will design financial-economic-crime risk scenarios and independently challenge transaction-monitoring detection methods. You will govern framework changes as a risk owner, create validation tools, analyze data, document analytical rationale, and support product launches. You will defend controls in reviews, remediate findings, align stakeholders, and mentor through expertise.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in AML, financial crime, or compliance analytics.
  • Experience developing, tuning, or advising on financial economic crime risk scenarios and transaction monitoring frameworks.
  • Stakeholder-management experience with engineers, regulators, and commercial teams.
  • Ability to form and defend independent views and hold risk-owner sign-off.
  • Python or PySpark experience for large-scale data analysis.
  • Looker experience.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Design financial economic crime risk scenarios for transaction monitoring.
  • Challenge and advise the First Line on detection methods and approve framework changes as risk owner.
  • Draft and review procedures, guidelines, and technical model documentation.
  • Assess framework risks for new product launches and manage required changes.
  • Create validation tools and analyze data to improve the global framework.
  • Defend controls to Model Validation, Internal Audit, and regulators.
  • Own remediation of findings.
  • Align stakeholders in cross-functional workstreams.
