About the Role
You will support AML controls, customer identification, transaction monitoring, sanctions and PEP screening, suspicious-transaction reporting, regulatory audits, and compliance documentation. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to investigate financial-crime risks and maintain effective operational controls.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs
- Background in fintech, financial services, technology-driven, or regulated environments
- Knowledge of AML, compliance, risk, internal controls, or regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with MASAK and SPK regulations or ability to learn them
- Data analysis, business analysis, automation, AI-enabled tools, or compliance systems experience or interest
- Analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- English communication skills
- Proficiency with transaction-monitoring, screening, risk, and reporting tools
Responsibilities
- Support legal and compliance operations in accordance with Turkish anti-money-laundering law and MASAK notifications
- Assist with onboarding and identity verification for individual and corporate accounts
- Generate and maintain suspicious transaction reports and support communication with MASAK
- Manage risk-control processes and compliance documentation
- Prepare for regulatory audits and licensing requirements
- Monitor sanctions lists, PEP databases, and the Legal Gazette
