About the Role

You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities; manage entity consolidations; prepare and review US GAAP financial statements; ensure accurate general-ledger activity; and automate accounting, reconciliation, and reporting workflows using AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in general accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and ability to draft technical accounting memos
• Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks or NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to use AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to automate work
• Basic coding and scripting skills, including Python

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Manage consolidation of financial statements across entities
• Prepare and review US GAAP financial statements
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger activity
• Automate accounting processes using AI
• Identify and implement AI-driven efficiencies
• Partner cross-functionally to improve systems, data flow, and reporting
• Support audit processes and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Complete ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned
