About the Role
You will prepare, review, and deliver consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and relevant requirements. You will manage group consolidation, coordinate external audits, analyze financial results, improve reporting controls, partner with finance teams, and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including financial reporting and audit experience.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Experience managing complex reporting requirements.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting systems.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
- Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or entrepreneurial environment.
- Interest in blockchain, Web3, and digital entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and deliver consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and relevant requirements.
- Drive group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations.
- Account for complex group structures, joint ventures, and associates.
- Manage the end-to-end group audit process and coordinate audit deliverables.
- Resolve audit queries across group entities.
- Analyze group-level financial results, variances, and trends, and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Partner with regional and entity-level finance teams to improve consistency and accuracy in reporting.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and group reporting processes.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior finance team members.
