About the Role

You will manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, close processes, and monthly financial statements. You will strengthen internal controls, prepare audit deliverables, maintain accounting systems, and partner with FP&A, Legal, Procurement, Data, and external auditors on reporting and accounting matters.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 3+ years of corporate accounting, general ledger, and close management experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, debt, and leases
• Experience owning account reconciliations and monthly financial statements
• Experience owning a close calendar
• Public company or audit-ready private company experience with audit exposure
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP and a spend management platform
• Ability to work in person 3+ days per week in San Francisco or New York

Responsibilities

• Execute general ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statement preparation
• Own close areas including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and equity compensation
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and flux analysis
• Automate manual and error-prone close activities
• Maintain internal controls and support audit readiness
• Own audit deliverables, technical accounting memos, schedules, and sample-testing support
• Maintain NetSuite and the spend management platform
• Partner with FP&A on reporting, forecasting inputs, and variance analysis
• Support accounting assessments for new entities, contracts, and programs
