About the Role

You'll help build scalable accounting processes, stronger financial controls, and accurate reporting across every entity as LemFi grows fast globally. You'll own month-end close, prepare financial statements, run point on audits with external partners, and partner with the data team to build real financial visibility. This is a hands-on role for someone who pairs technical accounting depth with a practical, problem-solving instinct, working across teams and with external partners.

Requirements

  • Relevant accounting experience, ideally in a fast-growth business: fintech, tech, or similarly dynamic
  • ACA, ACCA, ICAEW, or an equivalent accounting qualification
  • Experience preparing statutory and non-statutory financial statements as well as monthly management accounts
  • Experience supporting or leading audits and working directly with external auditors and financial partners
  • Strong grip on accounting standards and financial controls
  • Confidence working with financial data and building reporting processes that scale
  • Proactive and organised approach to resolving issues
  • NetSuite experience (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with Tableau or Looker (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable accounting and financial control processes
  • Own the month-end close for your entities and deliver accurate management accounts on time
  • Prepare entity-level financial statements in line with applicable GAAP and file on schedule
  • Run point on audits and work directly with external auditors, tax advisors and financial partners
  • Strengthen internal controls, reporting systems and documentation
  • Partner with the data team to turn financial reporting into real visibility using tools like Tableau and Looker
  • Work across finance, data and business teams to align accounting outputs with FP&A
