About the Role

You will design and maintain end to end automated tests using Playwright and Maestro. You will build regression, smoke, and sanity test suites for critical flows including checkout, payments, gift card redemption, and account management. You will integrate automated test execution into CI/CD so tests run on every deployment to staging. You will work with internal tooling such as the MCP server to support API driven test case management in Qase. You will hunt down and fix flaky tests to improve stability and speed. You will collaborate with developers to understand new features and translate requirements into automated coverage. You will contribute to test planning, risk assessments, and decisions about what to automate versus what to test manually or exploratively. You will report on test results, coverage gaps, and automation health.

Requirements

• 2-4 years writing and maintaining E2E automated tests.
• Coding skills beyond test scripting and a dev background.
• Experience using AI tools to write and debug tests.
• Strong experience with at least one modern test automation framework Cypress Playwright Selenium or similar.
• Mobile test automation experience or genuine interest Maestro Appium Detox or similar.
• Comfort operating in early stage QA environments where process isn't fixed
• Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Dev experience that leans toward backend and infrastructure.
• Experience with API testing REST and request/response validation.
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts and running tests in pipelines.
• Solid understanding of test workflows cases suites runs reporting.
