About the Role
You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies and help Agile squads deliver high-quality product increments aligned with sprint goals and the product roadmap. You will remove blockers, manage cross-team dependencies, surface risks, and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders. You will coach team members on Agile values, backlog refinement, user stories, estimation, acceptance criteria, iterative development, testing, and definition-of-done practices. You will analyze delivery metrics, improve workflows, support release planning and quality activities, and ensure that Agile practices meet compliance, auditability, and documentation requirements.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum and Kanban
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Familiarity with cloud-native and microservice delivery models
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with metrics-driven decision-making
- Ability to build trust and foster team cohesion in high-pressure, regulatory-conscious environments
- 4–7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role
- Experience supporting multiple Agile squads in complex software delivery environments
- Experience with backlog-management and reporting tools
Responsibilities
- Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and refinement sessions
- Ensure delivery of high-quality increments aligned with sprint goals and the product roadmap
- Maintain sprint velocity, delivery metrics, and predictability through planning and backlog discipline
- Encourage ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the squad
- Identify and proactively remove blockers
- Resolve cross-team dependencies with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and other stakeholders
- Escalate issues appropriately and promote early, transparent risk management
- Coach team members on Agile values, Scrum practices, and collaboration techniques
- Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and user-story preparation
- Guide engineers and analysts on acceptance criteria, estimation, and work breakdown
- Promote iterative development, continuous testing, and definition-of-done adherence
- Improve team workflows, sprint metrics, and cross-team alignment
- Encourage automation, testability, and DevOps collaboration
- Communicate progress, risks, and priorities to Product Owners and Engineering Leads
- Maintain sprint dashboards, burndown charts, and delivery insights
- Coordinate communication across squads contributing to shared components or features
- Support compliance, auditability, and documentation requirements
- Encourage automated testing, code reviews, and readiness checks
- Support Release Management and QA during sprint reviews and release planning
