About the Role

You will design, formulate, conjugate, and characterize targeted lipid nanoparticles carrying nucleic-acid payloads. You will establish cell-culture and in vitro assay workflows, design in vivo studies, analyze formulation performance, maintain laboratory records, and report findings to scientific leadership.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field with 0-2 years of experience for Scientist I or 2-4 years for Scientist II
• Experience with lipid nanoparticle assembly platforms and surface bioconjugation
• Experience modifying nanoparticle biodistribution or tropism through lipid composition
• Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and quantitative cell-based assays
• Understanding of nanoparticle distribution, protein corona formation, vascular barriers, and in vivo study design
• Ongoing United States work authorization without employer sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Design and execute targeted lipid nanoparticle formulations with nucleic acid payloads
• Perform surface modifications and bioconjugation to attach targeting moieties
• Perform nanoparticle analytics for size, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency, and ligand labeling
• Establish mammalian cell culture models and in vitro screening assays
• Design in vivo biodistribution, pharmacokinetic, and organ-targeting studies
• Analyze datasets to establish structure-activity relationships
• Maintain electronic lab notebooks, author reports, and generate patent disclosure data
