About the Role
You will develop, validate, and scale pooled screening platforms for measuring and engineering molecular cargo delivery into cells. You will design delivery vehicles and molecular assays, execute screens and validation experiments, analyze sequencing data, document findings, present results, and mentor Research Associates.
Requirements
- PhD in cell or molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field
- 0–5 years of relevant post-PhD experience
- Pooled screening experience including library design, screen execution, NGS readout, and hit analysis
- Mammalian cell culture and cell engineering
- Flow cytometry proficiency
- Python, R, or similar data-analysis tools
- Project management and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and validate molecular reporters for cargo delivery
- Design and construct pooled libraries and execute sequencing-based screens
- Scale screening platforms and engineer improved delivery vehicles
- Design and execute validation experiments
- Analyze sequencing data and develop analysis pipelines
- Maintain detailed experimental records
- Present research findings
- Mentor Research Associates
