About the Role

You will manage the technical sales cycle for banking opportunities across Western and Central Europe. You will engage with banking stakeholders, qualify opportunities, deliver demonstrations, scope proof of concepts, prepare RFP and RFI responses, present security architecture, translate banking requirements into solution architectures, support deal strategy, contribute technical content, and ensure continuity during onboarding handoff.

Requirements

  • 3–8 years of experience in pre-sales solutions engineering or technical consulting
  • Experience supporting Tier 1 or Tier 2 banks financial market infrastructure or capital markets firms
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles in regulated financial institutions
  • Track record of delivering proofs of concept or technical pilots in banks
  • Experience authoring RFP and RFI responses
  • Experience with bank procurement legal and infosec processes
  • Exposure to digital asset tokenization or blockchain initiatives
  • Knowledge of core banking platforms such as Temenos Finastra Murex or Calypso
  • Knowledge of custody infrastructure or post-trade settlement systems
  • Familiarity with ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT or MX
  • Experience with API-led integration patterns
  • Understanding of cryptographic key management hardware security modules or MPC and TSS architecture
  • Awareness of MiCA DORA or equivalent EMEA regulations

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical qualification for banking opportunities
  • Deliver tailored demonstrations for custody settlement treasury and compliance use cases
  • Scope and deliver proofs of concept in bank environments
  • Navigate infosec reviews sandbox provisioning and API integration testing
  • Prepare RFP RFI and DDQ responses
  • Present security architecture to senior banking stakeholders
  • Translate banking requirements into solution architectures
  • Engage with bank technology teams on API integration and middleware
  • Co-develop technical account plans
  • Contribute to competitive deal strategy
  • Represent banking clients in product and roadmap discussions
  • Create solution briefs reference architectures and proof-of-concept templates
  • Support onboarding handoff to Professional Services
  • Contribute to banking-specific enablement and knowledge transfer
