About the Role
You will deploy, commission, validate, and support robotic systems in labs and at customer sites. You will diagnose hardware, software, and system issues, train customers, document known issues and mitigations, and provide structured field feedback to improve deployments.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, C++, ROS/ROS2, and Linux-based development workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with robotic systems in lab and field environments
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and integrated robotic systems
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, typically 30–50%
Responsibilities
- Deploy, commission, and validate robotic systems at customer sites
- Provide on-site and remote technical support during integration, testing, and production ramp-up
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level issues
- Train customer engineers and operators on system usage, safety, and maintenance
- Analyze root causes and implement feasible fixes or mitigations
- Communicate risks, limitations, and unresolved issues to internal teams
- Provide structured deployment feedback to research and development
- Create deployment guides, application notes, and troubleshooting documentation
- Document known issues, root causes, and mitigation strategies
