About the Role

You will help establish robotic manufacturing cells and configure GMR-AI toolpaths for new applications. You will support proofs of concept, collect project data, design and validate tooling, test sensors, maintain controls, develop process recipes, and rotate across process, mechanical, and software workstreams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, in-progress remote or completed Master's degree, in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline
  • Hands-on experience with physical robotic or mechanical systems through coursework, internships, co-ops, capstone projects, or research
  • Working familiarity with scripting and data analysis using Python or similar tools
  • Ability to execute structured experiments or processes with attention to detail
  • Written technical documentation skills
  • Meet United States export-control eligibility requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support proofs of concept for new applications and customers
  • Gather measurements, CAD, and documentation for robotic manufacturing cells
  • Assist with manufacturing-cell design and evaluate reachability, cycle time, and efficiency
  • Design, build, and test end-of-arm tooling and work-holding fixtures
  • Configure GMR-AI toolpaths and trajectories for new applications
  • Test and prototype inspection sensors and tools
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain sensors, PCs, and third-party device controllers
  • Contribute to process recipes for different materials and geometries
  • Partner with software engineers to prototype new methods
  • Rotate across process engineering, mechanical tooling, and software workstreams
  • Travel to project sites for installations, proofs of concept, and troubleshooting
