About the Role
You will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize robotic assembly systems. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, controls, and software issues; perform root-cause analysis; improve equipment performance; create technical documentation; train manufacturing personnel; and support equipment deployments, upgrades, and validation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting industrial automation or robotic manufacturing systems
- Experience with industrial robotics, PLCs, machine vision, and automated production equipment
- Troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, controls, and software systems
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing
- Root-cause analysis skills
- Technical communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving robotics, PLCs, machine vision, motion control, and automated manufacturing equipment
- Support the performance, reliability, and uptime of robotic assembly systems
- Perform root-cause analysis using production data and system diagnostics
- Partner with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement improvements
- Optimize equipment performance through continuous-improvement initiatives and corrective actions
- Interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings to diagnose failures
- Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and engineering reports
- Train manufacturing personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Support equipment deployments, upgrades, and validation
- Communicate technical findings and recurring issues to engineering teams
