About the Role
You will own operational stewardship for assigned platforms and act as a technical escalation point. You will perform platform checks and recoveries, investigate production incidents, publish root-cause analyses, maintain runbooks and knowledge assets, improve automation, coach analysts, and support on-call activities.
Requirements
- Five to eight years of production support, application support, or similar operational experience
- SQL proficiency
- Experience analysing complex datasets and workflow behaviour
- Experience with monitoring or operational tools such as Splunk, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, or NewRelic
- Log analysis and platform debugging experience
- Major-incident investigation leadership experience
- ITIL knowledge, including root-cause analysis and problem management
- Platform-level operational ownership experience
- Mentoring experience
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own daily platform checks, recoveries, and reliability activities
- Lead technical incident investigations and recovery activities
- Produce and maintain SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, and preventive controls
- Publish root-cause analysis documents
- Collaborate on code, configuration, and automation improvements
- Coordinate platform-specific tasks during incident bridges
- Contribute to reporting, metrics, and operational reviews
- Coach analysts on platform knowledge and investigation techniques
- Investigate production issues using SQL, logs, workflow traces, and internal tools
- Maintain monitoring rules and knowledge assets
- Recommend preventive actions and stability enhancements
- Provide technical input for client-facing communication
- Participate in on-call escalation support
- Ensure compliance with audit, evidence, and operational standards
