About the Role
You will provide L2/L3 support for production trading systems, support business users and customers, resolve incidents, manage releases and audits, monitor application and infrastructure alerts, maintain procedures, and improve processes through automation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of production support experience in banking or financial services
- UNIX debugging, SQL, and Bash or Python scripting experience
- Experience supporting FIX protocol and APIs
- Knowledge of Linux and Java-based systems
- Exposure to cloud technology and DevOps utilities
- Knowledge of monitoring, visualization, and scheduling tools
- Incident handling and troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting trading systems
- Knowledge of equities, derivatives, FX, or cryptocurrency trading
- Availability for shift work and weekend support
Responsibilities
- Provide application, API, and network-connectivity support
- Identify and resolve production incidents
- Own production issues through escalation and resolution
- Manage release activities, audit reviews, and business continuity exercises
- Monitor and automate application and infrastructure alerts
- Maintain knowledge repositories and standard operating procedures
- Identify process improvements and automate manual tasks
