About the Role

You will manage collections activities for delinquent and high-risk small-business and commercial accounts through email and phone communications. You will negotiate payment plans, reconcile payments, balance customers’ ability to pay with risk appetite, use and build portfolio-management tools, and meet team KPIs and SLAs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in collections, recoveries, or credit-risk management operations through phone and written correspondence
• Customer support experience through phone and email
• Experience collecting on commercial financial products such as credit cards and loans
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Investigative and critical-thinking skills
• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Negotiation skills
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collections from delinquent and high-risk small-business and commercial accounts through email and phone communications
• Negotiate payment plans by balancing customers’ ability to pay, payment reconciliation, and risk appetite
• Reduce credit losses while supporting customers’ financial well-being
• Use and build tools to manage your portfolio efficiently
• Meet team KPIs and SLAs to maintain operational excellence
