About the Role

You will design and lead empirical studies of models and products with health systems. You will create measurement and evaluation frameworks, analyze clinical conversation data, collaborate on product research, engage external researchers, publish findings, present technical reports, and mentor research interns.

Requirements

• PhD in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, economics, information systems, clinical informatics, or a related field
• Expertise in quantitative or mixed-methods evaluation using observational and experimental data
• Research track record in evaluation and measurement demonstrated through high-impact publications
• Understanding of Abridge's mission

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct evaluations of models and products
• Engage external researchers and stakeholders on ambient AI research
• Develop evaluation frameworks for model development and product strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional product teams
• Write technical reports and present to stakeholders
• Publish original research
• Mentor research interns
