About the Role
You will perform molecular and cellular experiments and imaging-based screening. You will conduct lipid assays, support large-scale genetic screens in stem cell-derived brain models, plan and analyze experiments, troubleshoot findings, document work, and collaborate across scientific functions.
Requirements
- BS/MS or equivalent professional experience in cellular biology, neuroscience, immunology, or a relevant field
- 2+ years of relevant experience, including independent undergraduate lab work
- Hands-on experience with cell culture techniques and cell-based assays
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform mammalian cell culture, transfection, Western blot, RT-qPCR, and immunostaining experiments
- Perform imaging-based organelle screening
- Perform lipid extraction and lipidomics assays
- Conduct large-scale screening of genetic modifiers of neurological diseases using stem cell-derived brain models
- Plan, execute, analyze, troubleshoot, and interpret experiments
- Collaborate with cross-functional scientific teams
