About the Role
You will own camera-module validation from prototype bring-up through qualification and mass production. You will define image-quality standards, characterize imaging performance, develop calibration and manufacturing tests, and work with engineering teams and suppliers to optimize camera systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 3+ years developing, validating, or characterizing camera and imaging systems
- Knowledge of image sensors, optics, lenses, image signal processors, and imaging pipelines
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical camera-module integration
- Python programming
- C/C++ programming
- Linux proficiency
- Experience with image-quality evaluation tools such as Imatest, Image Engineering, or MATLAB
- Stereo vision or multi-camera system experience
- Camera calibration and validation experience
- Camera manufacturing and production testing knowledge

Responsibilities
- Define and execute validation strategies for camera modules, image sensors, and vision systems
- Characterize optical, electrical, and system-level camera performance
- Develop image quality specifications, validation methodologies, and performance metrics
- Design calibration procedures and manufacturing test processes
- Lead camera hardware bring-up through production qualification
- Partner with engineering teams to optimize imaging system performance
- Collaborate with suppliers on camera module design, quality, and manufacturing requirements
