About the Role
You will evaluate safety and regulatory compliance for space systems, launch vehicles, and ground operations. You will conduct hazard and reliability analyses, support design reviews, investigate failures, and develop proactive maintenance strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- At least 4 years of relevant professional engineering experience
- Knowledge of engineering principles and safety-analysis methodologies
- Proficiency with FMEA, FTA, and RCA
- Communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with CAD tools and reliability prediction software
- Experience with 14 CFR Part 450, AFSPCMAN 91-710, or ARP4761
- Experience with FAA, FCC, or U.S. Air Force or Space Force range compliance
- Data analysis skills
Responsibilities
- Manage safety and reliability compliance
- Evaluate vehicle and mission compliance with technical regulations
- Conduct FMEA and FTA hazard and risk analyses
- Perform system and component reliability assessments
- Incorporate safety and reliability requirements into designs
- Investigate failures and implement corrective actions
- Develop proactive maintenance strategies
