About the Role
You will lead reliability engineering for aircraft systems throughout development, integration, testing, and operations. You will establish requirements and reliability budgets, conduct reliability analyses, assess test and field data, identify design improvements, and communicate risks and corrective actions to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
- At least 5 years of related experience
- Aircraft development, integration, testing, sustainment, or operations experience
- Reliability budget management experience
- FMEA, FMECA, FTA, RBD, Weibull analysis, reliability prediction, and FRACAS proficiency
- Experience with reliability analysis tools such as ReliaSoft, Windchill Quality Solutions, Isograph, or RAM Commander
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain aircraft-level reliability requirements, objectives, and program reliability plans
- Establish and manage reliability budgets across systems, subsystems, and line-replaceable units
- Perform reliability predictions, FMEA, FMECA, FTA, RBD, Weibull, and related analyses
- Analyze test, supplier, maintenance, and field-performance data for reliability trends
- Define reliability demonstration and growth-test requirements
- Communicate reliability performance, risks, and corrective actions
- Mentor junior engineers and improve reliability processes, tools, and standards
