About the Role
You will build and operate secure cloud environments, storage, and data pipelines for specialized legal workloads. You will design reliable, auditable architectures, translate legal and privacy needs into technical systems, support controlled legal requests, and coordinate requirements with internal stakeholders. You will extend infrastructure for new workflows and clearly explain technical constraints to nontechnical partners.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, and operating trusted production infrastructure and data systems
- Experience owning architectural decisions
- Experience in large, complex, multi-team environments
- Ability to secure cloud accounts end to end on AWS or GCP
- Ability to translate legal and privacy requirements into technical designs
- Experience designing checks for invariants
- Clear communication with nontechnical stakeholders
- Infrastructure, data, privacy, or security engineering experience
- Knowledge of distributed processing, lakehouse table formats, or query engines
- Knowledge of data pipelines, LLM training, provenance, or lineage
- Experience with secure enclaves, confidential computing, clean rooms, eDiscovery, litigation support, or records retention
