About the Role

You will advise on regulatory matters affecting payments and financial services in Australia and New Zealand. You will monitor regulatory developments, shape regulatory strategy, operationalize requirements, manage filings, and advise stakeholders on regulatory engagement, product launches, merchants, and service providers.

Requirements

  • Qualification as a lawyer in Australia
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong research, statutory interpretation, and organization skills
  • Ability to analyze policy issues
  • At least 5 years of experience in a regulatory or legal role
  • Working knowledge of payments, retail banking, acquiring, and finance
  • Unrestricted practicing certificate
