About the Role
You will lead installation delivery across a regional portfolio of customer projects. You will manage and develop Site Installation Managers, coordinate site readiness and resources, oversee contractors and trades, resolve execution issues, monitor schedules and costs, and maintain safety, reporting, and continuous-improvement practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in industrial automation, material handling systems, construction management, systems integration, or complex equipment installation
- Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience with field-based teams, site leaders, contractors, or skilled trades
- Experience delivering large-scale industrial automation, robotic, material handling, or AS/RS projects
- Knowledge of installation planning, construction sequencing, project controls, subcontractor management, schedule management, and site execution
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, balance regional resources, identify execution risks, and drive corrective actions
- Customer and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to use project metrics and data to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement
- Technical judgment regarding installation requirements, constructability, design interfaces, and execution challenges
- Ability to travel approximately 80% to customer sites throughout the Northeast and Central regions
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work at customer installation locations and meet physical and safety requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead regional installation execution across concurrent customer projects
- Lead and develop Site Installation Managers
- Oversee site readiness, mobilization, installation sequencing, resource planning, and turnover
- Manage performance across internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and skilled trades
- Resolve field issues and manage project dependencies with cross-functional partners
- Monitor schedules, productivity, costs, and risks and drive recovery plans
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, customer, installation, and site safety requirements
- Establish project controls and progress reporting
- Standardize installation planning, estimating, execution, and closeout
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and capability development
