About the Role
Work with the protocol team to brainstorm, specify, implement, and test chain features for Injective DeFi modules. Improve chain performance and scalability through key-value store optimization, processing logic, and order-matching engine improvements. Build and maintain Cosmos SDK protocol components, develop blockchain infrastructure, write open-source Golang clients, research blockchain technologies, and collaborate with engineering teams and open-source communities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a blockchain engineer.
- Prior experience in trading or working at an exchange.
- Experience with at least two large and performant production Golang codebases.
- Strong knowledge of Go idioms, libraries, and parallel processing.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain, DeFi, DEX concepts, consensus mechanisms, and CosmWasm.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals including data structures and API design.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Cosmos SDK or Tendermint.
- Experience with cryptography libraries and digital signatures.
- Experience with key-value databases.
- Experience with Ethereum or Solidity.
- Knowledge of financial instruments and markets.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and test Cosmos SDK protocol components including the decentralized order book, trade execution coordinator, order matcher, and Layer 2 execution environment.
- Develop and optimize Injective blockchain components covering consensus, state management, financial infrastructure, and applications.
- Write open-source Golang clients for interacting with the protocol and smart contracts.
- Research and develop new blockchain features and technologies.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, and quality assurance engineers to deliver blockchain solutions.
- Collaborate with external partners and open-source communities to enhance the blockchain ecosystem.
