About the Role
You will provide excellent service to our investors by becoming intimately familiar with the unique operating procedures of your portfolio and ensuring it performs optimally. You'll manage the resolution of complex and ever-changing challenges while accurately managing expectations, all with adaptability, high attention to detail, and impeccable communication. As your portfolio grows rapidly and across state lines, you'll exercise extreme ownership across leasing, repairs and maintenance, resident services, and accounting to ensure everything runs smoothly. You'll work collaboratively with, and act as a liaison between, investors and the rest of the Roofstock organization, partnering with other departments and product as needed.
Requirements
- Active Georgia Real Estate License
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in residential or commercial property management, or real estate operations
- Prior experience working directly with property ownership, a plus
- Cost and revenue management experience, highly preferred
- Tech savvy and experienced in working in a multitude of property management softwares
- Extreme attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-driven and intrinsically motivated with the ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines
- Thrives in a fast-paced and startup environment
- Must be able to travel within the assigned area a minimum of 10% of the time
- Valid drivers license and a reliable source of transportation
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio in accordance with investors' changing goals and objectives
- Provide excellent customer service at all times to investors
- Resolve complex problems as they arise and permanently resolve underlying issues to prevent recurrence, while managing investor expectations
- Systematically assess, organize, schedule and execute tasks by leveraging proprietary technology and centralized teams of excellence
- Proactively create tasks for Roofstock team members and follow up to ensure satisfactory completion
- Build strong virtual relationships with all other Roofstock departments
- Test software, processes and organizational changes and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement
- Discuss and cross-sell Roofstock real estate products
- Oversee Onsite Managers who live on premises of properties with sixteen or more apartments
- Assist investors with the purchase and sale of income properties
- Serve as a company representative in eviction-related court hearings when required, including in-person appearances for contested cases, appeals, or by court or legal request
